Hello my beautiful babes! Happy February!! As we flow into the second month of the new year, we are greeted with another Full Moon early in the month. Now the moon cycle itself is extremely powerful, and the full moon is when the moon is at its fullest, and he most powerful. So this week we will dive into making the most of this February Full Moon.

Now each phase of the moon is very important and brings different energy with it. As explained in my previous post, Understanding Magic: Moon Magic, the different phases each hold a purpose. The Full Moon phase is basically a big power climax and then a sigh and downward tilt in energy for the rest of the month. Now I am not saying you wont have energy after the full month but I am also saying that your energy may not be as high as it was prior to this full moon.

Now how to have fun with it! It is a big time of celebration after all! Here are some of my top go to Full Moon activities!

Full Moon Rituals & Activities:

  • Epsom Salt and essential oils to the bath water as well as crystals like quartz & amethyst. These materials add the element Earth into the tub. Outside of the tub I would recommend incorporating the other elements. Water has always been my favorite element to work with, so this is a great way to work with water & the moon in one activity. Not to mention it is super relaxing! Love a good tub time. Start by cleaning your tub and cleansing it (quick smudge). Once in the tub take time to relax, visualize the water taking away whatever you no longer want to carry with you. Once you are ready to get out, take a moment of gratitude for the elements and the time and imaging all your woes and worries going down the drain once you pull the plug. You'll be feeling amazing. • Full Moon Release Ritual: This one requires less materials but has the same amazing effect. Start by setting up a calm sacred space. It should be somewhere that you feel safe and secure. Warm soothing light fills the room, and all is calm, no one to bother you. Next grab a pen and some paper, a lighter/matches, a fire safe bowl. Sit in your sacred space and sit with yourself and think about all the things that are weighing you down, all the things too heavy to carry on, and write them down on the paper. Take as long as you need, fill up as much or as little of the paper as you want. Once you are done take the paper, fold it away from you, light it on fire, and put it in the bowl. Let it burn to ash and take it outside under the Full Moon and thank the Universe/God/Higher Powers at be for their care and discard of the ashes on the earth thank it for its offering. You are releasing you woes back into the universe to let the powers at be so their moves.

  • Full Moon Charging: now the easiest, but sometimes the easiest to also forget, is to charge different elements under the Full Moon. Doing this incorporate the artifact with the Full Moon's energy. To begin wait until the moon is in the sky. Now you can put the artifacts out the day before, day of, and day after the Full Moon. We have 72 hours to harness the Moon's fullest energy. Once it is nighttime collect the materials you wish to charge. That includes crystals, water, candles, herbs, spells, etc. Put these items safely outside somewhere the moon's light would be able touch it. Now here is the tricky part, remembering to grab everything before the Sun gets to it. But if you don't no worries but the Sun cleanses and charges as well so it'll have different energy added to it.

These are all awesome ways to add a little Seline magic in your realm! Hope you all take this upcoming Full Moon on Sunday February 5th!

Until next time,

xoxo

Margaux
