Witchy Tip of the Week: Daily Divination

Hello my beauties! Happy Pink Full Moon! Hope everyone is finding balance and harmony as much as they can with the intensity of the full moon. My witchy ass hasn't slept through the night since Tuesday but that is normal for me. Any who, this week I am focusing on Divination because I have been getting a lot of questions from the collective on ways to tap more into their team and guides. So, without further ado, let's talk about Daily Divination.

Now before you deep dive into this post, head over to my Understanding Magic: Divination Witchcraft to really get a grasp on what tool will feel the best for you. There are several types of divination tools, each having its own special way of presenting itself to the wielder.

Okay now that you are back, you can see there are many different divination practices that you can incorporate into your daily routine, depending on your interests and beliefs. Here are a few examples:

  1. Tarot: Tarot is a form of divination that uses a deck of cards to provide insight and guidance. You can draw a card or do a full reading each day to gain insight into your situation or to receive guidance on a specific question. The easiest way to add this into your daily routine is to pick your favorite deck and have it somewhere you always will go in the morning. Have a deck by your coffee pot, by your phone, by your front door. Grab a card on the go and take a snapshot of it to journal about later.

  2. Oracle cards: Oracle cards are similar to tarot cards, but they often have different themes and imagery. You can choose an oracle card each day to receive a message or guidance. Same as above with how to add it into your routine, have the deck somewhere present. For me, I actually have an oracle deck in my bathroom so when i am doing my morning routine I can reflect on the card & do the affirmation that goes along with that particular deck.

  3. Runes: Runes are an ancient alphabet used for divination. You can draw a rune each day to receive guidance or insight. Put your runes in a bowl and grab one on the go to store in your pocket to reflect on! See what themes pop up through the day that re significant to the rune.

  4. Pendulum: A pendulum is a weighted object on a string or chain that is used for divination. You can use a pendulum to ask yes or no questions or to gain insight into a situation. Pendulums are great on the go divination buddies! You can even go as far as bringing it to the farmers market or grocery store with you to help you pick out which foods will be best for your body!

  5. Scrying: Scrying is a form of divination that involves gazing into a reflective surface, such as a crystal ball or mirror. You can practice scrying each day to gain insight or to receive guidance. As mentioned in my previous post, get good about grounding so that the messages come through clear. This is one of the more advanced types of divination so take small steps.

It's important to remember that divination practices should be used as a tool for guidance and insight and should not be relied on as the sole source of decision-making in your life. In some cases, even divination can be used to mess with the reader to make sure they are not becoming too reliant on it. Always always always use your intuition to make sure it resonates with what you are asking and that you are not projecting instead. Ask your guides for clarity in any way that comes up blank or fuzzy. These are tools to be learned and respected.

So that's about it in a nutshell. Slow, small steps, be curious and don't expect anything besides being open to it all! Use discernment to feel out what feels authentic to you and how it shows up in your energy. What is right for one does not mean it's right for all. As humans are all different how we interact and interoperate messages will show up different. When you start to connect on the right frequencies though, these tools can unlock way more than what is just going on in your energy.

Happy divinating :)

Until next time,

xoxo
